تدور أحداث المسلسل حول إينوياشا، نصف شيطان والذي يبحث عن الجوهرة المقدسة أو (الشيكو نو تاما) التي تزيد من قوة الوحوش عند امتلاكها. وكاغومي طالبة في المدرسة ذات الخمسة عشر عاما التي تعيش مع عائلتها في معبد بجواره شجرة عمرها ألف سنة في مدينة طوكيو. يعيش كل من انوياشا وكاغومي في عصرين مختلفين، فكاغومي تعيش في العصر الحديث بتطوراته اما انوياشا فيعيش في عصر الحروب في اليابان القديمة. themoviedb
