Fry是一名生活在20世紀的送貨員，他工作不順心，生活不如意，是個徹頭徹尾的失敗者。機緣巧合下，他被時光機器送到了1000年後的未來，也就是公元3000年！在光怪陸離的未來世界，他遇到了獨眼女外星人Leela，Leela要給他植入職業芯片，好讓他能在未來生活下去，而他的新職業居然也是送貨員。 Fry遂逃離出去，路上遇到了機器人Bender。 Leela在追捕他們的過程中，也放棄了自己不喜歡的職業，連同Fry一起，成為了職業逃亡者。三人搭乘了星際宇宙飛船，成為星際快遞公司的船員，而Fry的新工作，就是負責為宇宙的各個地方送快遞，也就是說，他還是個送貨員。就這樣，送貨員Fry，船長Leela，機器人Bender穿梭於宇宙之中，展開了妙趣橫生的31世紀星際快遞冒險之旅。 themoviedb
