Anders is a recovering drug addict in an Oslo rehab clinic. On the 30th August, he is given a day’s leave to attend a job interview in the city centre. After visiting his friend Thomas, he proceeds to his appointment. In the interview, he admits to being a drug addict and storms out. He then wanders the streets of Oslo for the rest of the day and night, meeting, and sometimes confronting, people from his past. themoviedb

All the available English subs versions that I could find were inadequate - with untranslated lines, bad timing errors, or, worse, the word "Blogging" inserted throughout! I have taken the original subs that people claim are from the BluRay release and checked them against a French version of the subtitles, and I think I have improved certain translations, corrected timing errors and most importantly added back in lines that are missing from all versions. Hope that's some useful work for someone! I'm sure they could be tweaked to be even better. And if you have any doubts about watching the film - don't. It's moving and truthful and beautiful.
